A Special Place
Camp Glen Gray is located on an 800 acre reservation in the Ramapo Mountains near Mahwah, New Jersey. The mountains ring Lake Vreeland which forms the center of the camp. Started in 1917 as a Boy Scout camp, Glen Gray has seen generations of campers. The camp is now operated by the Friends of Glen Gray as part of the Bergen County Parks system. It is open to youth groups and families every weekend of the year except for major holidays.

You can fish in Lake Vreeland year round, and in the summer, rent a row boat. There is a self-guided orienteering program. Or enjoy a game of Frisbee on Crowell Field. Nearby, you can also find skiing, tubing, shooting ranges and riding stables.
