Glen Gray Fishing Derby
August 23rd, 2025
For: Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, Scouts BSA, and other youth groups.
What: A catch and release fishing derby on Glen Gray's Lake Vreeland. Prizes will be awarded by age group for the most fish and the largest fish. And for the winners in the casting competition.
When: Saturday, August 23, 2025 sign in 9 a.m. start 10:00 a.m. end 2:00 p.m.
Where: Camp Glen Gray, 200 Midvale Mountain Road Mahwah NJ.
Other activities: Camp overnight (we are open Friday evening - Sunday morning), hike the trails around Glen Gray, or play frisbee on Crowell Field, . See Things to Do on website.
Cost: $15 per participant. (Includes prizes, event patch, and day pass). Overnight campers pay additional camping fees ($5 per person for tents or leantos. Cabin prices vary. See Campsites and Cabins on website for details).
